Justice Barnard of the Court of Appeals, State of Texas, Fourth Judicial District, nominated me few months ago as the Distinguished Attorney of the last decade. On August 6, 2021 I received my award and I am overwhelmed by your great responses for this prestigious award! Words cannot describe how I felt being at the Law School that I attended for my second Master of Laws ten years ago.
I would like to thank wholeheartedly my parents who supported me all the way and especially the best Professor that I have met and had the great pleasure and honor of being his student on the Criminal Law courses, Professor Gerald Reamey! This award is dedicated to my father who passed away during the first semester of my studies in Texas and my mother who passed away around a month ago! Texas is and will always be in my heart! Texas made me who I am today—strong, dedicated, and determined.
